Born in Johannesburg 1964. Grew up in Benoni and attended Benoni High School Matriculating in 1982.

After finishing school studied BA Graphic Arts at the University of Stellenbosch for 4 years, with photography as a major subject.

On completion of university in 1987 with a B.A. in Graphic Art, served the next two years compulsory National Military Service in the South African Defence Force as a photographer.

I was posted to the Intelligence Department at Army Headquarters Pretoria and ran a photo lab, as well as being sent on various assignments all over the country, to document certain events for Army Headquarters.

After military service, started an Out of Home Billboard Company OpenXposure in 1990, in the Western Cape of South Africa, which is my current business occupation.

I reside in Melkbosstrand and will be 58 years old this month.

Was excepted to exhibit Panoramic Photos from portfolio in the Month of Photography Exhibition at the Eziko Museum Cape Town in September of 2012.
